I am a mother, wife, published poet, writer, but best known for my work as a founding member of Chola  Pinup  & Chola Vida...

My career spans over 20 years and focuses on empowering and documenting the Xicanx barrio culture and chola pinup culture and experience.  I am also a founding member and current President of IxChel, a non profit organization that is responsible for the annual La Chola Conference, supporting barrio Xicanx folx through scholarship   among other things.
